The geography of Khanom is a bliss for any traveler to the Land of Smiles, as one can have breakfast on the East Coast and lunch on Koh Samui, Koh Panghan or  the West Coast.

Khanom, is the most central place in Southern Thailand, surrounded by Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Panghan, Khao Sok Natural Park, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

It is a perfect place to escape the stress or… just to relax before you explore the inland. Avoid the crowd of tourists and remember why you came to Thailand in the first place.

Khanom is not yet fully discovered; a beautiful area with pristine beaches. The most beautiful ones you will find on the south part of Thailand, namely in Khanom.

With a little luck you will spot the pink dolphins who live here all year around.

Extra ordinairy are the nights  In a certain period of the year (around June) you will be surrounded by a swarm of shining blue LEDs caused by bioluminescent phytoplankton. You only have to be brave enough to take a dip in the sea at night.

Although the Khanom coastline itself is not suitable for diving, part of “Moo Ko Talee Tai” Marine National Park is part of the Khanom district, which includes the nearby islands of Koh Wang Nai, Koh Wang Nok and Koh Rab. At Koh Rab there are coral reefs with beautiful snorkeling opportunities.
